English Language Development (ELD)

ACCESS Testing for Multi-Lingual Learners

Conducted between January and the first week of March, ACCESS is administed to students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade to monitor students' progress in learning academic English. Anchored in  the WIDA English Language Development Standards, this assessment meets the U.S. federal requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). ACCESS assesses the four language domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
